Napa Valley BeeCo Hive Dive

You know we love to share our knowledge and experience!  Come along and catch the buzz on responsible bee keeping and check out how and why we manage vertical, foundationless, treatment free colonies to foster strong genetics in our community.

We’ll meet you at one of our celebrated clients apiary where you will plunge into a hands on honeybee experience as we open the hives for inspection. Participants learn about using a smoker, identify the inner workings of the hive, take beekeeper notes, hold frames of bees and even locate the queen. Maybe chow some bee larvae if that’s your thing and for sure glean a taste of fresh honey straight from the hive. You’ll also be sent home with a sample of our hand pressed, treatment free honey from the apiary you visited and readings on Apis Millefera.

A 1-2 hour experience.  The bees, hive management and weather will dictate our location and timeline.
